As political activist Harvey Milk, the first openly gay man to be elected to public office, Sean Penn is incredible . Although it takes place in the 70s, Milk is so timely, it could have happened in the present. Well balanced, intelligent, funny, and most important, entertaining. Memorable. Academy Award winner for Best Actor (Penn) and Best Original Screenplay.
